I am a stay at home mother of two who has had the opportunity while at home to develop my passions for gardening and writing. I wish for a sustainable future for my children and believe that the best way to achieve that goal is to start in my own backyard. I have gardened for my entire adult life. And from this passion grew my desire to share all I have learnt and have therefore developed my writing skills accordingly.

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my husband, two children, two cats and seven Chickens (which us Aussies like to refer to as 'Chooks'). Our suburban block is fairly typical except that we are in the process of creating the perfect food forest suited specifically to our family needs.
